Trivia Night with the Clarke County Historical Association

This annual event brings history enthusiasts together in an effort to help keep our nation’s heritage not only preserved, but pristine. Since 1996, the Civil War Trust has sponsored Park Day, an annual hands-on preservation event to help Civil War — and now Revolutionary War — battlefields and historic sites take on maintenance projects large and small. "High Tide at Gettysburg"
This summer promises to be our largest conference ever! Join the Civil War with Civil War Trust members and staff — along with some of the nation's elite historians — for four days of camaraderie and Civil War touring at Gettysburg
Local artists have been invited to the Holy Cross Abbey for a weekend of painting en plein air. Fresh paintings from that weekend will be on display at the Barn of Rose Hill in Berryville, Virginia from June 18th to July 2nd. The exhibit will begin with an opening reception on the evening of June 18th at 5pm and conclude with an auction on July 2nd at 5pm. Silent bids will be accepted during the exhibit.Find out more »
Four separate events coalesce to display and sell art inspired by and created on the monastery property: an en plein air painting weekend, opening night reception, art exhibit and auction. An exhibit of works created during outdoor painting weekend will take place, beginning with an opening reception at the Barns of Rose Hill on Saturday, June 18 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Show starts after the opening night reception for Images of Place and Grace – an art exhibit benefiting the film Saving Place, Saving Grace.
The group plays songs and instrumentals that draw from their backgrounds in Bluegrass & Old-Time traditions as well as contemporary sources.

Starting the day after the opening reception, June 19 until July 2, the exhibit will be available to the public during regular open hours at the Barns of Rose Hill; Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 5pm. Certain pieces of art will be on preview for the live auction July 2, and patrons may enter silent bids on those pieces through the duration of the exhibit.
