Civil War Trust: Park Day

Plein Air Painting

Local artists have been invited to the Holy Cross Abbey for a weekend of painting en plein air. Fresh paintings from that weekend will be on display at the Barn of Rose Hill in Berryville, Virginia from June 18th to July 2nd. The exhibit will begin with an opening reception on the evening of June 18th at 5pm and conclude with an auction on July 2nd at 5pm. Silent bids will be accepted during the exhibit.

Four separate events coalesce to display and sell art inspired by and created on the monastery property: an en plein air painting weekend, opening night reception, art exhibit and auction.
